Abstract:Objective:To explore the application effect of intramedullary nail with locking mechanism in the surgical treatment of non union after limb traumatic fracture, and provide reference for clinical treatment plan selection. Method: 76 patients with non union after limb trauma fractures admitted to our hospital from March 2021 to March 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 38 cases in each group, using a random number table method. The control group was treated with steel plate internal fixation, while the observation group was treated with locking intramedullary nail internal fixation. Compare two sets of surgical quality indicators(surgical time, hospital stay, fracture healing time),visual analog pain score(VAS) at different postoperative time points, excellent fracture healing rate, incidence of complications, and RUSS score,Lane Sandhu score,Fugl Meyer score at 1 and 3 months after surgery. The observation group had shorter surgical time, hospitalization time, and fracture healing time than the control group(P<0.05); The VAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group at 1,2,and 3 weeks after surgery(P<0.05); The excellent rate of fracture healing in the observation group(97.37%) was higher than that in the control group(86.84%)(P<0.05); The incidence of complications in the observation group(2.63%) was lower than that in the control group(10.53%)(P<0.05); The RUSS score,Lane Sandhu score, and Fugl Meyer score of the observation group were all higher than those of the control group at 3 months after surgery(P<0.05). Conclusion: The use of locking intramedullary nails for the treatment of non union after limb trauma fractures can shorten surgical and rehabilitation time, reduce patient pain, improve fracture healing outcomes, lower the risk of complications, and promote limb function recovery. Its clinical application value is significant. Keywords : intramedullary nail with locking mechanism;Limb trauma fracture;Bone non union;Surgical treatment;Clinical efficacy;Limb function
