Abstract:Objective: To analyze the effect of percutaneous microwave ablation for patients with cystic benign thyroid nodules. Methods: Patients admitted to hospital from September 2022 to September 2024 were divided into observation group and control group according to their treatment methods, and microwave ablation and traditional open surgery were performed respectively. The curative effects of the two groups were evaluated. Results: The operation time and hospitalization time in the observation group were shorter, and the levels of C-reactive protein and interleukin -6 were lower one day after operation,P < 0.05. One year after operation, compared with before operation, the levels of FT3 and FT4 in the observation group were relatively stable, higher than those in the control group, and the level of TSH in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,P < 0.05. One year after operation, the quality of life score in the observation group was higher,P < 0.05. The incidence of complications in the observation group was low,P < 0.05. Conclusion: In the treatment of patients with cystic-solid benign thyroid nodules, percutaneous microwave ablation can effectively shorten the operation time, accelerate the recovery of patients, improve the control level of inflammatory factors one day after operation, improve the thyroid function and improve the quality of life of patients. Keywords : percutaneous microwave ablation; Cystic-solid benign thyroid nodules; curative effect
