Observation and analysis of the clinical efficacy of combination therapy with vinaclotide and azacitidine in the treatment of elderly acute myeloid leukemia

Abstract:Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy of combination therapy of vinaclotide and azacitidine in the treatment of elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Method: Sixty elderly AML patients were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 30 patients in each group. The observation group was treated with combination therapy of Vinaccra and Azacitidine,while the control group was treated with conventional chemotherapy regimen. Compare the clinical efficacy,bone marrow remission,blood indicators,and T lymphocyte subpopulation levels between two groups. The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.33%,which was higher than the control group's 70.00% (P<0.05);The proportion of peripheral blood primitive cells and bone marrow primitive cells in both groups decreased,and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05);The levels of hemoglobin (Hb),platelets (PLT),white blood cells (WBC),and non erythroid cell count (NEC) in both groups increased,and the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05);The percentages of CD3+,CD4+,CD8+T lymphocytes and CD4+/CD8+ratio increased in both groups,and the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The combination of Vinaclat and Azacitidine has significant therapeutic effects on elderly AML patients,effectively improving bone marrow remission status and blood indicators,regulating immune function,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
