Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical intervention effect of intravenous infusion of peramivir on hospitalized children with influenza B(influenza B),as well as its specific impact on the course of the disease and the length of hospital stay. Methods: From January 2025 to January 2026,80 hospitalized children with influenza B who met the inclusion criteria were selected as the research subjects. All the parents of the enrolled children were informed of the research content in advance and signed the informed consent form. Using the random number table method, the enrolled children were divided into two groups, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received conventional symptomatic intervention, while the observation group received intravenous infusion of peramivir in addition to the intervention of the control group. The symptoms subsidence time, virus clearance time, disease course duration, and hospital stay time of the two groups were compared. Results: After the intervention, the symptom subsidence time, virus clearance time, disease course duration, and hospital stay duration of the observation group were all shorter than those of the control group(P < 0.05). Conclusion: The intravenous infusion of peramivir used in the clinical intervention of hospitalized children with influenza B can accelerate the subsidence speed of symptoms such as fever and cough in children, shorten the carrying time of influenza B virus in children, further compress the overall disease course and hospital stay period, and has certain therapeutic value.
